Citizen Academies

No great community can survive without the active and dedicated participation of residents and local businesses. For these people, the City of Naperville offers several academies that can be attended to enhance your knowledge of any number of facets of life in the city as well as public safety. 


CERT Program
Take a more active role in emergency preparedness projects by participating in Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
 
Citizen Fire Academy
The Citizen Fire Academy is a program designed to give participants a working knowledge of the Naperville Fire Department using brief classroom discussions, with a primary focus on hands-on exercises.
 
Citizen Police Academy
The Citizen Police Academy is a program designed to give the participants a working knowledge of the Naperville Police Department.
 
Naperville Citizens' Academy
The Naperville Citizens' Academy is an 11-week program designed to give citizens hands-on experiences and a unique insight into city operations.
