B.A.S.S.E.T.

B.A.S.S.E.T. (Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and Training) classes are conducted by State of Illinois-licensed members of the Naperville Police Department.

"Training Servers to Serve Responsibly"

• All establishments that hold a liquor license must require agents and employees who dispense, sell, deliver or serve alcoholic liquor to be enrolled in the B.A.S.S.E.T. program within 30 days of date of hire. The agents and employees shall complete certification no later than 60 days after date of hire.
• Registrations and payments must be submitted online.
• New registrations, changes or cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before the class date. 
• All initial B.A.S.S.E.T. training shall be conducted by a certified B.A.S.S.E.T. trained instructor provided by the City, upon the premises of the City, or at an offsite location as approved by the Liquor Commissioner. Any subsequent or renewal B.A.S.S.E.T. training may be conducted in person or online.

B.A.S.S.E.T. Classes

New Naperville B.A.S.S.E.T. registrations must take an in-person class. Naperville B.A.S.S.E.T. renewals are allowed to take an online or in-person class.

• January 10 - 5:30 p.m.
• February 7 - 11:00 a.m.
• March 13 - 5:30 p.m.
• April 10 - 11:00 a.m.
• May 8 - 5:30 p.m.
• June 12 - 11:00 a.m.
• July 24 - 5:30 p.m.
• August 14 - 11:00 a.m.
• September 25 - 5:30 p.m.
• October 9 - 11:00 a.m.
• November 13 - 5:30 p.m.
• December 11 - 11:00 a.m.
