Citizens' Academy 01
Chief Information Officer Larry Gunderson explains how the IT division provides supports to City staff and residents.

Naperville residents will once again have the opportunity to learn about the City's municipal services and governmental processes by participating in the eighth annual Naperville Citizens' Academy. This 11-week program is designed to give residents hands-on experience and unique insight into the City of Naperville.

Classes will meet weekly from 6:30 to 9 p.m. beginning Thursday, April 18. Each week, participants will learn about the many aspects of local government through informative and interactive sessions with elected officials, department directors and representatives from Naper Settlement, the Naperville Public Library and the Naperville Park District. The program will culminate in a graduation ceremony officiated by Mayor A. George Pradel.

Space in the program is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To inquire about registration, contact Community Relations Assistant Janice Bradley at (630) 420-6707 or e-mail bradleyj@naperville.il.us.
