Construction alerts are projects that have already been designed and planned and now are under construction. The projects listed on this page are updated on a more frequent basis, as the construction phasing changes and new information is made available. 2011 Bituminous Patching Program
The 2011 Bituminous Patching Program will start in May 2011.  To report a pothole that requires immediate patching, call (630) 420-6195.
 
2011 Microsurface Pavement Maintenance Program
The 2011 Microsurface Program will begin July 18th and end in September of 2011.
 
2012 Joint and Crack Sealing Program
The Joint and Crack Sealing Program is a very cost effective preventative maintenance project that helps keep the city’s streets in good condition and extends the life of the street pavement.
 
2012 New Sidewalk Program
Each year the City of Naperville performs a sidewalk construction project that places sidewalk where none previously existed.
 
2012 Roadway Resurfacing Program
The Roadway Resurfacing Program will begin in May 2011.
 
2012 Sidewalk Removal and Replacement Program
Each year the City of Naperville performs a sidewalk maintenance program to repair defects within the city sidewalk system.
 
95th Street Watermain Project
Watermain infrastructure construction work is scheduled to take place on 95th Street between Ashbury Drive and Gateshead Drive beginning the week of August 2.
 
CIPP Rehabilitation Project - Naper Carriage Hill
Existing sewer in Naperville consists of concrete pipe that has developed root intrusions. Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) is a rehabilitation method that seals out tree roots and groundwater infiltration, reduces maintenance requirements and adds 50 to 100 years to the useful life of the sewer main.
 
East Highlands Sewer Rehab
The City of Naperville Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is now in the eighth year of a comprehensive sewer rehabilitation program. This page is dedicated to information about this project in the East Highlands subdivision in central Naperville.
 
Electric Cable Replacement Project
The purpose of this project ensure continued electric service reliabilty in Old Farm Five, West Glens, Indian Hills and Saybrook by replacing the aging electric system.
 
Sanitary Sewer Manhole Rehab Project
The City of Naperville Dept. of Public Utilities-Water has contracted Red Horse Inc. to rehabilitate approximately 35 sanitary sewer manholes in the Iroquois St.-Washington St. area and Downtown along Webster St. and Jackson Ave.
 
Steeple Run Watershed Project
The City of Naperville has been working cooperatively with DuPage County on addressing flooding in the Steeple Run watershed since the flood of 1996.
