Run by the Naperville Junior Woman’s Club in cooperation with the Police and Fire Departments, this miniature town includes streets, tiny buildings, a railroad car and a classroom building. Safety awareness programs are held in the summer for children entering kindergarten and first grade.
The “Scouts Play It Safe” and "CSI-Cubs Scouts Investigate" are programs designed to help Girl and Cub Scouts earn required safety badges. These programs introduce and reinforce personal safety and raise awareness of crime prevention and safety within the community. Additionally, these programs introduce Scouts to the duties and responsibilities of law enforcement. Each program is conducted by trained Community Education Specialists.
