Pace Announces Schedule Changes for 16 Naperville Routes Effective July 12
Schedule Changes Accommodate Metra’s New BNSF Schedule Effective July 12

NAPERVILLE, Ill.— Effective Monday, July 12, 2010, schedule changes will be in effect for 16 Pace routes in Naperville. The changes accommodate Metra’s minor schedule modifications for nearly two dozen trains on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) line, also effective beginning July 12. Pace riders are encouraged to check the updated route scheduled at www.naperville.il.us/transit.aspx or www.pacebus.com.

Metra Schedule Changes in Effect Beginning July 12
Effective Monday, July 12, minor schedule changes will impact nearly two dozen trains on Metra’s BNSF line. Metra is implementing the changes to accommodate a major construction project in Downers Grove and to provide more reliable service by having run times more accurately reflect actual operating conditions.

Due to the schedule changes, trains may have a slightly earlier or later departure time. Changes may result in a slightly longer commute for some passengers.  All commuters are advised to check the schedule changes posted on the City of Naperville’s website at www.naperville.il.us/transit.aspx or on Metra’s website at www.metrarail.com.
