City bids and Requests for Proposals (RFP) are posted online at DemandStar.com for review and download. Click here to see the current list. Interested merchants can choose to download bid documents for a nominal fee. Vendors may also choose to subscribe (PDF) to the DemandStar.com service and automatically receive notification when a formal sealed bid or RFP has been issued for their commodity or service. Besides the notification feature, a $100 DemandStar.com annual subscription also allows vendors to receive notification and download an unlimited number of documents at no additional charge for up to four (4) different counties. For help with bidding online, you can download step by step directions by simply clicking on the bidding online guide (PDF).
As always, vendors are welcome to pick up solicitation documents in person at the Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street. We recommend that salespersons schedule visits in advance by telephoning us for an appointment at (630) 420-6064.
The City of Naperville’s Procurement Services Team strives to insure that taxpayers receive the maximum value for each dollar spent by purchasing quality products and services at the lowest possible cost.
Prospective vendors are encouraged to review the purchasing guide. This guide lists the broad variety of products we buy. In addition, the guide provides important information on the purchasing process and policies at the City.
Procurement by the City of Naperville is governed by City Ordinance 04-156 as detailed in the Naperville Municipal Code 1-9B: Purchasing Policies and Guidelines.
