First and third Tuesdays of each month
Council Chambers
Municipal Center
400 S. Eagle St.

Meeting dates and times are subject to change. For the most up-to-date meeting schedule, visit the community calendar.

Council meetings are televised live on the city's cable channel.

Time at each meeting is set aside for a public forum session for questions or comments from the public on items not on the formal agenda. The forum is limited to 30 minutes and individual speakers are limited to three minutes. Persons who would like to address the City Council during the public forum should sign their name, address, and topic of discussion on the register located on the table outside the Council Chambers before the meeting.

Persons with a disability requiring a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in a City Council meeting should contact the city’s ADA/Accessibility Coordinator at (630) 305-5330 or (630) 305-5205 (TDD).

Citizen Participation

The purpose of citizen participation at city council meetings is to allow residents an opportunity to address the city council on issues of concern. Residents may speak on issues that do not appear on the agenda under public forum. Residents may also speak to specific agenda topics at the time the item is discussed.

One important note to keep in mind is that petitioners, or attorneys representing petitioners, will speak on an agenda item first and have up to 10 minutes. Other speakers who have signed up for the same agenda item have up to three minutes to speak. Public forum topics can be discussed for a maximum of 30 minutes.
