Patty Gustin is no stranger to giving back to her community. A local real estate broker and graduate of Roosevelt and DePaul Universities, Gustin’s 2015 election to the City Council continues her service to Naperville. Gustin spent a combined 16 years on the Naperville Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals, including 2 ½ years as Planning and Zoning Commission chairwoman.
As Councilwoman, Gustin is committed to keeping Naperville a world-class community, enhancing its fiscal solvency through business growth, improving traffic congestion, driving more user-friendly City IT systems and spurring creative developments, particularly those that serve Naperville’s growing senior population. To aid in achieving those goals, she is also a City Council liaison to the Downtown Advisory Board and the DuPage Mayors & Managers Conference and a member of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce. She also serves other local boards and organizations such as Naperville Responds to our Veterans, Naperville Healing Field, Naperville Exchange Club, Cress Creek Garden Club and Naperville Women’s Club.
When not at the dais, Gustin enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, three children, two grandchildren and numerous pets. She is a champion for responsibly moving Naperville forward to serve the next generations, while simultaneously making sure her cherished community loses none of its character.
Councilwoman Gustin's current term expires in 2019.
