Nicor Energy Efficiency Rebates Now Available in Naperville!

Residential Rebate Program - Coming Soon!
While the City's Home Energy Savings Program ended, in an effort to better serve its residents, the City of Naperville is working with officials at Nicor and the Illinois Municipal Electric Agency (IMEA) to establish a program that will offer rebates to Naperville Electric Utility customers who perform home insulation and high-efficiency furnace and water heater upgrades.
Funding for this residential rebate program was approved by IMEA in November. IMEA will be administering the program at no cost to the City of Naperville Electric Utility. At this time, IMEA is developing program details, timing, establishing fund availability, applicant eligibility and an application process. It is anticipated the program will kick-off in early 2013.
IMEA is made up of 33 electric systems served under a full-requirements wholesale purchasing contract. The IMEA's goal is to keep power costs low and to be insulated from the high prices that are increasingly common in the short-term power market. For more information on IMEA, visit their website.

Nicor Energy Efficiency Rebates Now Available in Naperville!
The Nicor Gas Energy Efficiency Program is designed to offer ideas and tools to help Illinois residents and businesses in Nicor's territory save energy and money. The Program provides Nicor Gas customers with energy education, resources and financial rebates to make energy use in your home more efficient and affordable. Rebates are available for the purchase and installation of qualifying energy efficient furnaces, water heaters, and boilers in single-family homes and multi-family homes that are three units or less. Additional rebates are available for business customers served on Rates 4 and 74.

With proper installation, gas-saving products can improve equipment operation, maintain balanced temperatures and ensure your comfort.
