Construction alerts are projects that have already been designed and planned and now are under construction. The projects listed on this page are updated on a more frequent basis, as the construction phasing changes and new information is made available. 2010 Bituminous Patching Program
The City has obtained bids from the contractors.  The city staff is currently reviewing bids and will bring those bids to the March 15, 2010 City Council Meeting for an award.  Work is slated to begin in late April/early May 2010.
 
2010 Joint and Crack Sealing Program
The Joint and Crack Sealing Program is a very cost effective preventative maintenance project that helps keep the city’s streets in good condition and extends the life of the street pavement.
 
2010 Microsurface Program
The 2010 Microsurface Program will take place from July through September 2010.
 
2010 Roadway Resurfacing Program
The Roadway Resurfacing Program will begin in May 2010.
 
75th and Washington Improvements
The City of Naperville, in partnership with DuPage County, will begin construction to improve the intersection at 75th and Washington in November 2008.
 
CIPP Rehabilitation Project - Saybrook, Century Hill, Huntington Commons
Existing sewer in Naperville consists of concrete pipe that has developed root intrusions. Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) is a rehabilitation method that seals out tree roots and groundwater infiltration, reduces maintenance requirements and adds 50 to 100 years to the useful life of the sewer main.

The DuPage River Trail is a multi-use paved trail designed for non-motorized public use.
 
East Highlands Sewer Rehab
The City of Naperville Department of Public Utilities (DPU) is now in the eighth year of a comprehensive sewer rehabilitation program. This page is dedicated to information about this project in the East Highlands subdivision in central Naperville.
 
Electric Cable Replacement Project
The purpose of this project ensure continued electric service reliabilty in Old Farm Five, West Glens, Indian Hills and Saybrook by replacing the aging electric system.
 
New Sidewalk Program
Each year the City of Naperville performs a sidewalk construction project that places sidewalk where none previously existed.
 
Ogden Avenue Corridor Traffic Signal Modifications
Countdown pedestrian signals and numerous sidewalk ramps will be improved at various signalized intersections along the Ogden Avenue Corridor.
 
Sidewalk Removal and Replacement Program
Each year the City of Naperville performs a sidewalk maintenance program to repair defects within the city sidewalk system.
 
Steeple Run Watershed Project
The City of Naperville has been working cooperatively with DuPage County on addressing flooding in the Steeple Run watershed since the flood of 1996.
