The mission of the City of Naperville’s Information Technology (IT) department is to identify, implement and support applications and systems that enhance service delivery, enable employee productivity and align with the organization’s business needs.
To meet its mission the IT department provides the following services to city departments and offices:
- Data center operations
- Voice and data network services,
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application development and support,
- End user support for personal computers,
- Land Mobile Radio System (LMRS) deployment,
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS) development and support,
- Enterprise Content Management (ECM) development, and
- Strategic technology planning
