Naperville Police Department Media Release: Aggravated Battery Arrest

At approximately 3:12 p.m. on 09/14/2016 members of the Naperville Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the area of 1600 Westminster Drive for the report of a bleeding subject. Upon arrival, contact was made with the victim, and it was discovered he was stabbed during a dispute with the suspect, who was known to him and had left the scene prior to police arrival.

The suspect was located in the area shortly thereafter and was placed into custody. He is identified as: Brandon J. Hall, m/b, 12/10/1996 of the 300 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard in Oswego.

The victim was transported to Edward Hospital in Naperville, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was charged with one count of Aggravated Battery, a Class 3 felony.

The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
