Naperville Police Investigating Armed Robbery

At 3:08 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, Naperville Police officers responded to the 7-11 at 351 E. Bailey Road for the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the officers learned that the suspect had fled the scene. The clerk, who was uninjured, reported that a male subject, who was wearing a mask, had entered the business, displayed a weapon and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is a male subject, dressed in all black, wearing a mask and gloves. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666 and ask for the Investigations Division.

The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
