Naperville Police Respond to Report of Strong Arm Robbery

At approximately 1 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, Naperville Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of east Ogden Avenue for a report of a strong arm robbery.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that three male black subjects entered the business and asked for a large number of cartons of cigarettes. Based on the number of cartons requested, the clerk refused to supply them. Subsequent to this, two of the suspects went behind the counter and one suspect held the clerk while the other handed a number of cartons of cigarettes to the third suspect. The suspects then fled on foot eastbound from the gas station. The clerk was not injured during this incident.

The three suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1 – Male black, 5`8", 160 pounds, black hair. Dressed in dark clothing.
  • Suspect 2 – Male black, 5`8", 200 pounds, black hair (dreadlocks). Dressed in dark clothing.
  • Suspect 3 – Male black, 6`2", 180 pounds, black hair. Dressed in dark clothing.
