Bring the whole family for this fun and educational day, which features a variety of activities and demonstrations by Naperville’s finest. During this event, participants will also have the chance to view and interact with police and fire equipment and vehicles, including the Fire Department’s first engine – a hand pumper purchased in 1874. Attendees will be able to take home fire and crime prevention information and meet Sparky the Fire Dog and McGruff the Crime Dog. The Open House will also feature annual favorites such as the children’s identification fingerprinting station, fire extinguisher training and a forensics booth as well as a few new features, such as free blood pressure screenings and a visit from Kona Ice!
