Raymond Drive and Ferry Road Resurfacing Project
DuPage County-led work to perform pavement maintenance on portions of Raymond Drive and Ferry Road is scheduled to begin mid-June and last approximately six weeks, weather depending. Throughout construction, daily lane closures on both roads will be necessary.

August 30, 2017 - Work is complete.
August 14, 2017 - Beginning today, rolling lane closures will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. for approximately two weeks throughout the entire Raymond/Ferry work zone due to installation of pavement markings. Motorists should expect delays in this area and find alternate routes or allow extra travel time until work is complete.
August 10, 2017 - Due to overnight street paving, Ferry Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction from east of I-59 to River Road starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 11, weather permitting. Paving operations are expected to run the entire night. Motorists should expect delays in this area and find alternate routes or allow extra travel time.
June 21, 2017 - Work has begun. Please be alert to lane closures and changing traffic patterns and use caution when traveling through work zones.
- Project Overview
This project will include resurfacing the roadway on Raymond Drive from Ogden Avenue to Ferry Road, and Ferry Road to Route 59, to renew the condition of the pavement for a safer and smoother ride. In addition, the project will also include miscellaneous curb and sidewalk repairs, patching and the application of new pavement markings.
Construction is scheduled to begin the week of June 19 and is expected to last through approximately mid-August 2017, pending weather or unforeseen circumstances.
