Care Options

Senior care options fall into several categories: Home-based, community-based and facility-based. Facility-based options include home sharing, assisted living, nursing homes and continuing care retirement communities. When you are considering long-term care options and developing a plan, it is important to factor in not just healthcare, but a myriad of services that an individual might need such as health, financial, social, religious, legal and housing services. It's also important to consider that seniors' needs may change over time. It is helpful to talk with someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in this process. Some of these resources may be able to facilitate the process for you.
