Joint Investigation Leads to Arrest for Child Pornography
On September 11, 2018, Naperville Police and investigators from Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow’s Crimes Against Children Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 2200 block of Salisbury Drive in Naperville after a joint investigation into the possession and distribution of child pornography.
As a result of the investigation and search warrant, Victor H. Linares, 44, of the 2200 block of Salisbury Drive, was arrested and charged with three counts of Child Pornography, all Class 2 Felonies that carry a potential sentence of probation or 3-7 years in prison upon conviction. Linares was transported to the Will County Jail and is being held on $150,000 bond with 10% to apply.
The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
