Naperville Police Arrest Three in Drug Trafficking Operation

68 pounds of marijuana, two vehicles, $4,000 cash seized by Naperville Police

On December 2, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Naperville Police Department officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of Fesseneva Court for a report of possible drug-related activity.

Upon investigation, officers determined a residence rented from a popular Internet home rental site was possibly being used to conceal a large quantity of cannabis. Detectives from the Naperville Police Department Special Operations Group were called to assist with the investigation and later obtained a search warrant for the residence.

Once inside, NPD detectives determined the residence was being utilized to conceal a large-scale cannabis trafficking operation. A search of the residence recovered approximately 68 pounds of cannabis, with an estimated street value of $311,000. Also seized during the operation were two vehicles and more than $4,000 in cash.

The following individuals were arrested and charged in relation to this case:

Cristian Valdivia, 22, of La Puente, California was charged with Cannabis Trafficking (Class Super X Felony), Possession with Intent to Deliver Over 5,000 grams of Cannabis (Class X Felony) and Possession of Cannabis Over 5,000 grams (Class 1 Felony).
