Naperville Police Arrest Two in Connection with Recent Burglaries

Naperville Police have arrested two men in connection with multiple motor vehicle burglaries that have been committed in the northwest portion of Naperville over the past few weeks.

Isacc Springwater, 18, of the 1500 block of Bond Street in Naperville, is charged with one count of burglary, a Class 2 felony; one count of battery, a Class A misdemeanor; one count of resisting a peace officer, a Class A misdemeanor; and one count of unlawful possession of a stolen firearm, a Class 2 felony.

Major Gilmore III, 18, of the 100 block of Edgebrook Drive in Pasedena, Texas, is charged with three counts of burglary, a Class 2 felony, and one count of resisting a peace officer, a Class A misdemeanor.

At approximately 4 a.m. on July 28, 2018, Naperville Police Officers were called to the area of IL Route 59 and Paxton Drive for a report of two subjects attempting to break into a residence. While searching the area, officers located Springwater and Gilmore, who fled from police and were apprehended shortly thereafter. The subsequent investigation revealed that Springwater and Gilmore are responsible for four motor vehicle burglaries committed in the northwest part of Naperville over the past few weeks.
