Naperville Police Investigate August 4 Robbery

On Saturday, August 4, 2018 at approximately 7 p.m., patrol officers from the Naperville Police Department responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Modaff Road for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival of the officers it was determined that the offenders had left the scene. During the incident one of the offenders displayed a firearm and stole an undisclosed amount of currency and personal items from the victims.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Male black 6’0” dressed in dark clothing.
  • Male black 6’2” with long dreadlocks, wearing a light shirt and dark pants.
  • Male black 5’3” – 5’5” short cropped hair, dressed in dark clothing.
  • Male black 5’3” – 5’5” unknown description of hair/clothing.
  • Male black 5’3” – 5’5” unknown description of hair/clothing.

At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident and there was no direct threat to the general public.
