Crime Stoppers Reward Offered for Information about Mundelein Road Armed Robbery

NAPERVILLE CRIME STOPPERS are offering a cash reward for information about an armed robbery that occurred on Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, at approximately 10 a.m. Naperville Police Officers responded to the 1700 block of Mundelein Road for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, two masonry workers stated they were completing work for the homeowner when they were approached by two male subjects, one armed with a handgun. The subjects stole power tools from the job site and left the area in a vehicle traveling east bound on 75th Street. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Witnesses described the offenders as follows:

Offender #1: Male, unknown race, approximately 5’8” – 5’10”, medium build, wearing a black sweatshirt, dark pants, and a full face and head covering.

Offender #2: Black male, 20-30 years of age, approximately 5’5”, medium build, wearing a red shirt and a mask covering his neck, nose and mouth.

Offending vehicle: 2020 4- Door Toyota Corolla bearing Out of State Temporary Plates with tinted windows and possible front passenger side damage. Please see attached photo.
