Mayor Steve Chirico Launching Weekly Facebook Live Discussion

“Naperville Unscripted” invites residents to participate in virtual town halls

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Join Mayor Steve Chirico at noon on Wednesday, January 6, when he premieres his new weekly Facebook live talk and Q&A, Naperville Unscripted, to help share the latest information on a variety of City topics of interest and engage with residents.

“As part of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative’s leadership and management program that I’m part of, we’ve emphasized the importance of connecting with our community in ways that meet people where they are, especially during this year of change,” Mayor Steve Chirico said. “I’m looking forward to a fresh new way to engage with our community on an active platform and look forward to weekly conversations.”

The weekly Facebook live discussion will take place on the City of Naperville, IL, Government Facebook account at noon every Wednesday. At times, Mayor Chirico will welcome a guest to the week’s show based on the discussion topic, which can range from an in-depth look at various City services to the local pandemic response. Viewers will be able to ask questions and are encouraged to help make this an interactive experience.
