Naperville Police Make Arrest in Recent Residential Burglary

On March 11, 2020, Naperville Police arrested an 18-year-old man from Harvey in connection with a residential burglary that occurred in Naperville on January 25.

Malik Pearson, 18, is charged with one felony count of residential burglary for allegedly entering a residence on the 800 block of Shiloh Circle after gaining access through an unlocked vehicle on the driveway.

Detectives are investigating whether Pearson might be involved in other burglaries in this area.

The Naperville Police Department would like to remind residents to always lock their homes and vehicles. Additionally, never leave keys, purses, wallets, phones or other valuables in your vehicle, even if it’s locked. These simple actions will significantly decrease the likelihood that you will be burglarized.
