Naperville Police Investigate Shots Fired

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — On Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021, at approximately 9:33 p.m., Naperville Police Department officers responded to the 300 block of East Bailey for a report of shots fired. Arriving officers found multiple spent shell casings in a nearby parking lot. There were no injured people located after a search and canvass of the area. The preliminary investigation indicates that the shots were fired from a dark-colored sedan that was traveling through the parking lot, then left. It is not clear what the offender was shooting at as of now. The investigation into this incident is on-going.
