Naperville Police Investigating Armed Robbery

On Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, at approximately 9:07 p.m., Naperville Police Department officers responded to the Subway at 2048 Aurora Avenue for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred. The preliminary investigation indicated a single suspect entered the business, displayed a knife and stole an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency prior to fleeing on a bicycle. The employees were moved around the store and forced to the ground but were not injured.

The suspect is described as: Male, Black, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with white logo on the chest, gray sweatpants, black/white gym shoes, camouflage bandana, dark gloves, armed with a knife.
