Naperville Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Missing Elderly Man

(UPDATE: The missing man has been located safe and is being reunited with his family.)

At approximately 6:00 p.m. on Jan. 13, 2021, the Naperville Police Department received a call from a family member of a missing subject, identified as 75-year-old Yong Wook Ham of the 1600 block of Westminster Drive near the corner of Westminster and McDowell. The family member advised that Mr. Ham left the home on foot at approximately 3 p.m. and has not been heard from since. The Naperville Police Department with the assistance of the DuPage County Sheriff’s bloodhound searched the area but at the time of this release, have not located Mr. Ham. A “silver alert” was initiated through the Illinois State Police to be on the lookout for Mr. Ham.

MISSING: Yong Wook Ham, male Asian, 75 years old, 5’10”, 170 pounds, grey short hair and was last seen wearing yellow and red jacket, brown pants and brown shoes.
