Naperville Police Investigate Personal Injury Hit and Run Crash
On Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022 at 07:55 a.m., the Naperville Police and Fire Departments responded to the intersection of Bailey Road and Coach Drive for the report of a hit and run traffic crash with injuries.
Responding units located a 10-year-old male, who had been struck by a car while riding his bicycle. The Naperville Fire Department transported the juvenile to a local hospital for treatment of significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle that struck the bicyclist is described as a silver sedan of unknown make and model. The driver is only described as female. The vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Bailey Road from Coach Drive.
This incident remains under investigation by Naperville Police Department’s Traffic Unit, and anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any additional information is asked to contact the Traffic Unit at (630) 420-6725.
