Meet Your City Council
A New Way to Connect with Naperville’s Elected Officials
Starting March 4, the public must use Naperville’s Help Center to contact Mayor Scott Wehrli and all City Council members. This provides a more efficient and organized way to submit requests, questions and feedback. This process will replace submitting inquiries to elected officials using City email addresses. The City has created a help guide to assist you with making a submission through the new Help Center form.
The City Council includes the Mayor and eight Council members elected at large. For more information about the Mayor and each of the Council members, click on their names below.
Citizen Participation
The Naperville City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of each month in Council Chambers of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St. Each meeting allows residents an opportunity to address the Council on issues of concern. Residents may speak on issues that do not appear on the agenda under public forum. Residents may also speak to specific agenda topics at the time the item is discussed.
Petitioners, or attorneys representing petitioners, will speak on an agenda item first and have up to 10 minutes. Other speakers who have signed up for the same agenda item have up to three minutes to speak. Public forum topics can be discussed for a maximum of 30 minutes.
The deadline for online speaker sign-ups and phone call requests to be added to the speaker list is 6:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Written comments and positions statements must be submitted online by 4 p.m. the day of the meeting.
