95th Street and Book Road Intersection Improvements
The City has identified the need for improvements at the intersection of 95th Street and Book Road. These improvements will serve to improve traffic flow, thereby reducing congestion and delay. Anticipated improvements may include creating additional through lanes and turn lanes and making modifications to the existing traffic signal. Preliminary engineering is currently underway to assess the existing conditions and determine the optimal improvements.
Preliminary engineering will continue through 2020 and construction is planned for 2022, dependent on funding. It is anticipated that the improvements will be completed within one construction season.
