Current Activity

The final phase of construction will began Monday, Jan. 13 to replace the doors on the north and south sides of the station.

Crews will complete door replacement one door at a time, beginning with the south door and moving to the north door once installation of the south door is complete. Three of the four station doors will remain accessible at all times. Work is expected to be complete by Jan. 28, pending weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Project Phases

Phase 1 - COMPLETE
During Phase 1, crews will remove and replace the entrance walkway and adjacent sidewalk. The work zone will be fenced off with 6' mobile construction fencing and construction material will be kept inside the construction area The majority of work will take place during midday hours to minimize interruption to station activities; however, there will be times during the morning and afternoon rush times when work vehicles will be present for 5-10 minutes at a time to drop-off materials and equipment, load out broken concrete and pour new curb and sidewalk. Signage will be in place to direct commuters. This work is expected to take approximately 2 and a half weeks.

Phase 2 - January 13 - 28
Once concrete work is complete, crews will remove the work zone fencing and begin door installation. Crews will work on one door at a time, beginning with the south door and moving to the north door once installation of the south door is complete. Three of the four station doors will remain accessible at all times. This work is expected to be complete by Jan. 28.

All work is weather dependent.

Impacts to Commuters

Parking and bus access will not be restricted during the project. While no services will be shut down completely during construction, commuters should expect some changes to station access throughout various phases of the project. Temporary barricades and signage will be in place to direct commuters when necessary. Commuters are asked to plan accordingly for these changes.
