The Special Events Cultural Amenities (SECA) Commission assists, informs and advises the City Council on matters pertaining to the arts, culture, and special events in the city of Naperville. The commission provides recommendations to the City Council on the annual allocation of SECA funds, encourages arts, culture, and special events in the community, and provides recommendations regarding SECA fund policy, procedures, application, vision statement and goals. Five members shall have professional expertise in the various facets of the duties of the board, including business, nonprofit management, arts, social or artistic events, Naperville heritage, diversity and culture. Two members may be nonresidents of Naperville.

The Special Event application process for 2019 will open on Friday, May 4, 2018. All applications are due no later than Monday, June 4, 2018.

Meeting Information

Meetings are held in Council Chambers of the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St., unless otherwise noted.
