General Information

Chat with the Chief began in 2016 as a way to promote dialogue and enhance police/community relationships.

The informal structure provides a relaxed atmosphere in which those who live and/or work in Naperville can experience some one-on-one time with the Chief and his senior staff. The meet-and-greet format does not include any formal presentations or agendas. Citizens drive the conversation as an opportunity for department leadership to listen and answer questions.

Chat with the Chief is held a couple times each year in various locations throughout Naperville. Anyone is welcome to stop by at any time during the events, which are advertised in local media as well as on the department's social media accounts.
