Commuter Parking

The City of Naperville provides parking at the Naperville Metra Station and Route 59 Metra Station (north side of the train tracks only; City of Aurora parking on the south side of the tracks).

Directions to the Naperville Metra Station, commonly referred to as the downtown Naperville station, and a map of the City's parking facilities are provided below.

Construction Notice: 4th Avenue Daily Fee Parking Closed

Beginning Monday, August 24, the daily fee parking spaces along 4th Avenue will be closed due to street resurfacing. This project is scheduled to be completed in approximately one week.

Access to the Serpentine daily fee lot will be maintained during the construction activity. Loomis Street, between North Avenue and 4th Avenue, will be closed during construction. Detour signs will be posted to assist commuters in accessing the Serpentine lot off of 4th Avenue.

For the duration of the project commuters are encouraged to utilize the additional temporary daily fee parking spaces located at the DuPage Children’s Museum as well as Express Park-n-Rides to the Route 59 Metra Station.   • 675 - Wheatland Salem Church Park-n-Ride

 The City of Naperville parking lot at the Route 59 Metra Station is located on the north side of the train tracks, accessible via the intersection of North Aurora Road and Fairway Drive.  Directions to the City’s parking lot at the Route 59 Metra Station, and a map of the parking facilities are provided below. 

The City of Aurora controls the parking lot on the south side of the train tracks. The train station building is also located on the south side of the train tracks (1090 Route 59, Naperville), accessible from the City of Naperville parking lot via a pedestrian tunnel under the train tracks.
