Parking at the park-and-ride lots is free, with transit service to the train stations provided by Pace Suburban Bus (bus fare $1.75 each way).

Naperville Station
One park-and-ride, located at St. Thomas the Apostle Church (1500 Brookdale Road), provides bus service on Pace Route 682 to the Naperville Metra Station.  Commuters may park in any of the more than 75 blue-striped parking spaces located at the northeast corner of the church parking lot.  The bus will board on Brookdale Road at the eastern driveway of the church, located at the far northeast corner of the church property.

Following is a map of the Park-and-Ride location:

Route 59 Station
Three park-and-ride locations provide express bus service to the Route 59 Metra Station (Pace Routes 672, 673, 675 and 682).  Transit service to the train station is direct, without stops.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycle parking is available at the Naperville Metra Station and on the north side of the Route 59 Metra Station. A limited number of covered permit motorcycle spaces are available on the south side of the tracks at the station.  Free motorcycle parking is available in designated spaces on the north side of the tracks at the Naperville Station. Free motorcycle parking is also available in designated spaces at the east side of the Rt. 59 lot.  Motorcycles may not be parked at bicycle racks.

To reserve a covered motorcycle parking space, please contact the City of Naperville Commuter Call Center at (630) 305-5300.

Motorcycle Parking with a Valid Commuter Parking Permit
Commuters with a valid commuter parking permit for the Burlington, Parkview, Kroehler or Route 59 commuter parking lots may be eligible to park a motorcycle in the commuter permit parking lots.  Commuters with a valid commuter parking permit must register their motorcycles with the City of Naperville prior to parking in the commuter lots and provide a valid commuter parking permit number, motorcycle license plate number, email address and phone number. Once a registration form has been submitted, commuters will be notified by the city that their registration has been accepted.

Please be aware of the following regulations related to the program:

  • Only one motorcycle may be registered for each permit.
  • Motorcycles must be parked in the same lot as designated on the commuter parking permit (i.e. commuters with a Burlington permit must park their motorcycle in the Burlington Lot).
  • Commuters may not use their permits to park both a vehicle and a motorcycle in the lot at the same time.

If you are a current commuter parking permit holder and would like to register your motorcycle, please fill out the Motorcycle Parking Registration form.

This program does not have any impact on existing motorcycle parking at the Metra Stations, and commuters may continue to park their motorcycles in the free motorcycle parking spaces at both stations.  Additionally, commuters with a motorcycle parking permit will be able to continue to park in their designated motorcycle parking space at the Naperville Metra Station.

Scooter Parking
The City of Naperville would like to remind commuters that a scooter is classified as a motor vehicle by the state of Illinois.  Therefore, scooters must be parked in the designated motorcycle parking areas at the Naperville Metra Station.

Bicycle Parking/Bicycle Lockers

Bicycle racks are available at both train stations. It is recommended that bicycles be locked to the racks.  Abandoned bicycles may be removed by the Naperville Police Department.

A limited number of bicycle lockers at the Route 59 station only are offered for a deposit and annual fee. For more information contact the City of Naperville Commuter Call Center at (630) 305-5300.
