Downtown Parking Survey Open Until July 27

Online survey helps shape future parking policy recommendations

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — As part of the City’s ongoing commitment to evaluating its downtown parking needs, the 2026 Downtown Parking Survey is now open until 9 a.m. on Monday, July 27. The public is encouraged to share their thoughts on parking availability, location and quantity in this area through the brief survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2026DowntownParking

This survey is part of the City’s larger study of downtown parking occupancy and customer satisfaction, which serves as a tool for managing Naperville’s downtown parking supply. Collected data informs policy recommendations to address long-term downtown parking needs and to assess the success of past parking strategies. Additionally, the input helps track changes in parking patterns and assess current user satisfaction.

This year, the survey is being conducted online rather than in person downtown. Temporary signs with QR codes will be placed downtown to encourage real-time survey participation by visitors. As part of the overall parking evaluation, City staff will also be downtown during the weekend of July 18 to conduct parking counts.
