The Naperville Township Road District will be making drainage improvements and resurfacing portions of 87th Street between Book Road and Spring Brook Creek just east of Plainfield-Naperville Road from Sept. 24 through mid-October, pending weather and unforeseen circumstances.
Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the work; however, there may be temporary lane reductions with flaggers at certain times. Please use caution, expect delays and be alert for workers in this area.
Questions about this project can be directed to Naperville Township.
Annual preventative maintenance and battery replacement on the City’s outdoor warning sirens will take place throughout this week, the week of Sept. 21, 2020. During this time, the City’s warning siren contractor Braniff Communications will briefly activate each of the sirens individually for evaluation during daytime hours. Residents should not be alarmed if they hear the sirens going off during periods of calm weather this week.
