Over the course of a year, the Department of Public Works is responsible for setting up work zone barricades for 90 special events, like Last Fling and the Memorial Day parade. This amounts to 5,000 devices set up annually.

  1. Naperville Community Fireworks Show 2026 

    Celebrate Independence Day with a free public fireworks display featuring free parking at the park complex and Neuqua Valley High School.

    This annual block party, formerly known as Old Naperville Day, is a community celebration that returns after a two-year hiatus due to the downtown Washington Street Bridge Repairs.
