Naperville is home to a number of annual festivals and parades attracting people both local and from nearby cities and states.

Over the course of a year, the Department of Public Works is responsible for setting up work zone barricades for 90 special events, like Last Fling and the Memorial Day parade. This amounts to 5,000 devices set up annually.

Naperville's annual Last Fling is a festival that celebrates the end of summer and the onset of fall through music, food and family friendly activities.
