The City of Naperville operates and maintains its own electrical distribution system. Please refer to the Department of Public Utilities - Electric (DPU-E) service rules and policies for service standards, as these will be different from Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) standards. If you have additional questions, please contact Senior Electrical Engineer Larry Slate at (630) 420-6192.

The City of Naperville requires electricians working in Naperville to be registered as an Electrical Contractor with the City. Please click on the link below to print the application and submit with the required documents to the Community Services Department.
