Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The City of Naperville is made up of people from a variety of walks of life, each bringing unique experiences, perspectives, backgrounds, abilities and strengths. This rich tapestry makes our community vibrant and strong. We strive to foster a sense of belonging, respect and engagement where everyone is valued and has the opportunity to contribute to the City’s success.
Two key drivers are at the heart of the City's efforts to build an inclusive community: The City's mission statement and core values guide how employees interact with one another and Naperville residents daily.
City of Naperville mission statement: "To provide services that ensure a high quality of life, sound fiscal management, and a dynamic business environment, while creating an inclusive community that values diversity."
