Banner Pickup Scheduled for Dec. 2

Banners from the most recent installation are currently being removed and a banner pickup event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Public Works Service Center, 180 Fort Hill Dr. from 8 to 10 a.m. Participants who have a banner ready for pickup have been notified directly by email.

Pickups must be scheduled. To schedule your pickup, please visit the pickup calendar to select a timeslot that works best for you. The pickup calendar will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24. Pickup appointments are offered in 30-minute windows.

On Dec. 2, please arrive at the Public Works Service Center during your 30-minute timeslot and park at the front (southwest end) of the building. Then, enter the building through the front doors and follow the signs to the designated pickup area. Pickup will take place in the front conference room. A City staff member will greet you and ask for your veteran’s name.

If you cannot pick up your banner on Saturday, Dec. 2, between 8 and 10 a.m., please contact Public Works at 630-420-6095 to make alternative arrangements. If you need to send someone else to pick up your banner on your behalf, please indicate the pickup person’s name when scheduling your timeslot and make sure they know your veteran’s name.

How do I reserve my timeslot for pickup?
Schedule your pickup by visiting the pickup calendar to select a timeslot that works best for you. The pickup calendar will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 24.

How will pick up work?

How long do I have to pick up my order, and what happens if I miss my timeslot?
Your pickup slot is a 30-minute window in which you can arrive to pick up your banner. If you miss your pickup timeslot, it’s ok! Please come as soon as you can before 10 a.m. to pick up your banner.

Can someone else pick up my banner on my behalf?
Yes. Please indicate the pickup person’s name when scheduling your timeslot and name sure they know your veteran’s name.

What if I can’t pick up my banner on Dec. 2?
If you cannot pick up your banner on Saturday, Dec. 2 between 8 and 10 a.m., please contact Public Works at 630-420-6095 to make alternative arrangements.
