National Night Out Registration

Registration is free and gives police and other City representatives an opportunity to attend local events as time and circumstances permit. It is NOT necessary to register your event with the National Association of Town Watch (NATW).

Please note that your event may start earlier or go later than the posted NNO event times. City departments will only visit locations between 5-8 p.m.

If your neighborhood blocks off a city street, you are required to apply for a block party permit through the City of Naperville (www.naperville.il.us/blockpartypermit)

If your neighborhood hosts an event at a Naperville park, you are required to apply for a park permit through the Naperville Park District (www.napervilleparks.org/parkrentals)

Block Party Permits

If your neighborhood would like to block off a city street for your National Night Out event, you are required to apply for a block party permit through the City of Naperville.

Park Permits

If your neighborhood would like to host an event at a Naperville park, you are required to apply for a park permit through the Naperville Park District. If your event will have outside vendors and/or inflatables, you will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the Naperville Park District as additionally insured by endorsement.
