Treating Parkway Ash Trees
The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is an invasive pest that attacks and kills ash trees, which are native to Illinois and commonplace in Naperville. To combat EAB, the City developed an EAB management plan to protect its urban forest. To learn more, visit the Emerald Ash Borer story page on the City's Open Data Naperville portal.

Treating Your Ash Trees
Homeowners with ash trees have two options: treatment or removal. Treatment has been proven to save ash trees, and Naperville's own parkway ash treatment program has been very successful.
