IL ABLE

IL ABLE accounts are savings and investment accounts administered by the O­ffice of the Illinois State Treasure that can give eligible people with disabilities and their families greater financial independence. IL ABLE makes it possible for eligible people with disabilities and their families to save and invest their money for expenses related to living with a disability without jeopardizing public benefits such as SSI, SSDI and Medicaid.

Single-Family Home Repair Grant Program

The City of Naperville has contracted with Rebuilding Together Aurora to provide no-cost, home safety and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners. The Single-Family Home Repair Grant Program is open to households located within the municipal boundaries of the City of Naperville. The property must be owner-occupied and be the primary residence of an elderly person, a person with disabilities, a veteran or children under 18 living in unhealthy or unsafe conditions. Income must fall within or below 80% of HUD low-income standards and the homeowner must not be able to do necessary repairs/modifications due to cost or physical constraints. Applicants can complete the Rebuilding Together Aurora application and submit it directly to Rebuilding Together Aurora.
