Naperville Bicentennial

Centennial Beach was established in 1931 to mark Naperville's first 100 years.
Naperville will mark 200 years of history in 2031 when it celebrates the bicentennial of its founding. A planned bicentennial celebration will be an exciting opportunity to honor Naperville’s rich history, culture and growth.
The City of Naperville seeks two volunteers to serve as co-chairs of the 2031 Bicentennial Committee by guiding the development of community celebrations and projects from 2026 until the bicentennial in 2031. The co-chairs will work together to create an inclusive, community-wide celebration and build a team of community members to assist.
